Hostel Regulations

The rules and regulations followed in the hostel are categorically stated hereunder:

Boarders shall be responsible of safe custody of their valuables because rooms will be opened in morning time with duplicate key for cleaning purpose
No responsibility will lie with the PLGA Administration for the loss of any valuable or personal item of boarders

All windows of rooms shall be kept closed as dust spoils the furniture and other room items
If there is any complaint regarding cleanliness of room or any other part of hostel, Caretaker should be contacted for the provision of sweeper
The use of cooking appliance in rooms and service of food items in hostel rooms is not allowed

Proper use of fixtures, fittings and furniture in the hostel rooms and the lounge is the responsibility of the boarders
Any type of breakage/missing of room items or hostel items will be charged from the boarder responsible
Timing for the use of TV and Sports Room is from 06:00 pm to 10:00 pm

Guests of any boarder are not allowed to visit or stay in the hostel rooms
Smoking is strictly prohibited in the common areas of hostel
Boarders are not allowed to stay the night out on working days without prior written permission of the Course Coordinator
The gate of the hostel shall be closed at 10:00 pm for security reasons
Boarders entering the hostel after this time shall be required to make an entry in a register with the guard on duty at main gate
The names of such late-comers shall be submitted to the Director PLGA next morning
All residents are advised to stay in the hostel after 10:00 pm
All boarders are required to observe moral and ethical standards strictly
